Lampasas Independent School District
Lampasas Independent School District, a T.E.A. district, is located in Lampasas, Texas, a small close-knit community located in beautiful central Texas on the edge of the Hill Country. Having five main campuses, Lampasas ISD serves about 3,350 students and emphasizes student achievement and success. The Lampasas I.S.D. consist of Lampasas High School (9th - 12th), Lampasas Middle School (6th - 8th), Hanna Springs Elementary (K - 5th), Kline Whitis Elementary (Pre-K - 5th) and Taylor Creek Elementary (Pre-K - 5th). Texas U.I.L. classification 4A.

The First Baptist Church Pre-school is founded on the principle that children are a gift from the Lord. They work hard to create an environment of love and compassion in their classroom so that children enjoy coming to school to learn and make new friends. Their trained staff teaches the following skill areas using theme based curriculums and center based play to engage children in hands-on learning: Vocabulary, Math & Science, Written Expression, Phonological Awareness, Letter Knowledge, and Social-Emotional Skills.

 Lometa Independent School District

The Lometa Independent School District is in Lometa, a small rural town located at the intersection of U.S. 183 and U.S. 190 in northwest Lampasas County. The Lometa I.S.D. has Pre-K through 12th grade educational opportunities. The Lometa I.S.D. is housed in beautiful historic rock buildings but offers students an education for this modern era. Texas U.I.L. classification 1A.
