Lampasas Independent School District, a T.E.A. district, is located in Lampasas, Texas, a small close-knit community located in beautiful central Texas on the edge of the Hill Country. Having five main campuses, Lampasas ISD serves about 3,350 students and emphasizes student achievement and success. The First Baptist Church Pre-school is founded on the principle that children are a gift from the Lord. The Lometa Independent School District is in Lometa, a small rural town located at the intersection of U.S. 183 and U.S. 190 in northwest Lampasas County. The Lometa I.S.D. has Pre-K through 12th grade educational opportunities. The Lometa I.S.D. is housed in beautiful historic rock buildings but offers students an education for this modern era.
