Historic Hancock Springs Free Flow Pool
Natural springs abound and you’ll be able to get your water sports fix from fishing to swimming.
Lampasas features the Historic Hancock Springs Free Flow Pool, one of only three remaining pools in Texas! The pool was constructed in 1911. Schedule your trip to coincide with our Midnight swims that take place throughout the summer. Bask in the live music and hometown potluck picnic during Midnight swims.
Cooper Springs Nature Park
Newly developed, Cooper Springs Nature Park offers bird watching enthusiasts an opportunity to commune with nature!
Colorado Bend State Park
Take a drive out to Colorado Bend State Park and hike up to Gourman Falls or kayak in the Colorado River. Colorado Bend State Park also offers Wild Cave Tours, camping, and fishing.
Enjoy art? Take a stroll through Hanna Springs Art Garden. Great photo opportunities abound- you’ll be dazzled and inspired! The garden was inspired by local artist Nancy Gray. It is family and pet friendly and free to the public. So drop by and see what new things may have happened since the last time you were here.
Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden
Supported by the Lampasas Association for the Arts, the sculpture garden features art pieces from a number of known sculptors around the world. Website
Vision Lampasas Murals
Lampasas, the Home of the Murals! Nine beautiful murals are scattered throughout the central business district. Vision Lampasas is a group of volunteers dedicated to the enhanced aesthetic, social, cultural, and economic welfare of the Historic Downtown District and surrounding areas. Website
